The Coaching Process
Step 1: Make Sense
First we need to make sense of the situation you’re in. We’ll explore the context, the history, the challenges, and why this particular issue is causing you to be stuck.
Step 2: Make Decision(s)
Once we understand the situation and why it is what it is, we will explore possible decisions. In this step we’re experimenting with directions to go, putting a foot down, setting a boundary, or taking a leap.
Step 3: Make Adjustments
When we’ve landed on a decision, we’ll work to make a series of small adjustments to our behavior and to the world around us. Change doesn’t happen overnight, and epiphanies are few and far between. Sustainable change happens in small increments.
